Minister Gjiknuri in Vlora, closely follows the flood situation

Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri closely followed the management of the emergency situation caused by dense rainfall in the city of Vlora, and its surroundings, due to the extraordinary rainfall that occurred in the country. Minister Gjiknuri emphasized that it is more important for citizens to respond to the calls of local and central authorities and the guidelines given in the context of this situation.

After the emergency staff meeting, in Novoselë of Vlora, where was discussed about the plan of measures to be taken for the next few hours, Minister Gjiknuri stopped at the port of this city.

“Good news for all citizens of Vlora, but also for the rest of Albanian people who choose the port of Vlora, which has returned to normality. The intensity of the sea waves has fallen, so the power of the waves has fallen, meaning that everything has returned to normality.

I hope that the port of Durrës with the calm of the waves will also function totally. I congratulate the entire port administration, but also all support staff who are functioning normally and the citizens are welcome to continue the normal port service, as they have always done, “the minister said in a statement to the media.
