Information on the situation in the Drin cascade

The dense rainfall over the past few days has improved the hydropower situation in the Cascade of the Drin. KESH reports that the energy reserve at 12 o’clock today is 572 GWh, or 116 GWh higher than that of November 28, when intense rainfall began. Meanwhile, the water level in the reservoir of the Fierza hydropower plant is currently 273.16 m, otherwise about 5 meters higher than the beginning of the precipitation wave. The flow rate at this hydropower plant is currently 1000 m3 / s.
KESH has engaged in intensive working capacity of Koman and Vau i Dejës hydropower plants. The water level at HPP Koman currently stands at 173.26 m and flows 350 m3 / s while in HPP Vau Deja it is 74.89 m and flows 80 m3 / s.
In addition to the energy withdrawn by TSO for balancing services and OSHEE for domestic consumption, KESH has maximally avoided the spillage of water without electricity generation by exchanging for 26,500 MWh of the Kosovo KESH and selling the unregulated market of 58,000 MWh.
In conclusion, the situation in the Cascade of Drin continues to be fully under control and management is being carried out in accordance with the plot regulation.
