Gëzim Musabelli
Deputy Minister
Mr. Gëzim Estref Musabelli was born in Durres on 07.07.1955 and currently resides in Tirana. He is married and has two children.
After completing high school at Qemal Stafa Gymnasium in Tirana, he attended high studies at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Geology and Mines, Branch – Mining. In 1980 he was appointed as production engineer and later responsible for production at the Kërrabë mine in Tirana District. In 1982 he was transferred to Priska Mine to the post of Technical Manager and later responsible for the mine (Director of Shipyard). In 1987, for good work in the mining field, Mr. Musabelli was transferred to the Central Mining Directorate of the Mining Company with the position of Chief Engineer of the Mining Company.
As a result of the professionalism he demonstrated during this period, in 1989 he was granted a right for postgraduate studies at the University of Tirana and then undergraduate postgraduate studies for a period of two years in the mining field in Austria.
In 2005, he was elected the Parliamentary Deputy of Albania. In 2011, he later served as the Director of Water Policies at the Ministry of Environment. In September 2015 he assumes the position of adviser to the Minister of Energy and Industry covering mainly the area of Mining and Geology. During these years, Mr. Musabelli has participated and has qualified in several trainings both internally and abroad.
He is a good master of the German language.
