Advisor to the Minister

Ardit Sotir Kamberi was born in Tirana on January 17, 1964. He is married to Mirela, and has two sons: Bjorn and Arlen. During 1982 – 1987 he has completed university studies at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Civil Engineering; Branch Civil and Industrial Constructions, Street, Bridge, with Graduation Ing. General Civilian.

Since 1987, he has worked as a construction engineer at the Technical Bureau and ISP for construction works. From 1993 to 2011 he worked at the General Directorate of Albanian Telecom / Albtelecom, Investment and Infrastructure Management, Department of Planning and Development, and the Procurement Department.

Mr. Kamberi has been a consultant in the field of contracting and procurement of investments in state and study institutions. He has participated as an expert in the design of various urban development and infrastructure projects, with local, regional and national character.

From 2011 to 2013, he worked in the management of businesses in the field of construction and design.

He has performed numerous specializations in European and overseas countries in the field of financing projects and infrastructure and investment development; management of local economic development; macroeconomic legislation; sustainable urban development and environmental impacts; renewable energies and energy efficiency in civil works.
He is founder of NGO Environmental Conservation and BioPolitics “BIO ALBA”.

He was Director of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Energy and Industry from September 2013 to October 2017. From October 2017 onwards he is Advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, and the Director of the National Secretariat EITI-Albania.

He has excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
